Die Romanistischen Arbeitshefte, die seit 2004 von Georgia Veldre-Gerner und Volker Noll herausgegeben werden, begleiten seit vier Jahrzehnten Studierende der Romanistik. Ihrer Konzeption nach sind die RA das Ergebnis einer Reflexion uber den jeweils aktuellen Stand der Forschung mit anwendungsbezogener und studienorientierter Ausrichtung. Damit bieten sie ein solides Instrument zur Einarbeitung in unterschiedliche Gebiete der Romanischen Sprachwissenschaft und halten dazu an, das erworbene Wissen durch integrierte Ubungsaufgaben praktisch nutzbar zu machen.

Diese Studie zeigt, wie die Handlungsfunktionen dialogisch ausgerichteter Sprechaktsequenzen der Form initiativer Direktiv (Aufforderung, Befehl, Einladung, Vorschlag) und reaktive Ablehnung im Deutschen und Japanischen realisiert werden bzw. realisiert werden konnen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf dem Sprechakt der Ablehnung, der anhand eines Datensets von 5200 Items untersucht wurde.
