Diese Edition enthalt die in der Sowjetischen Besatzungszone und ab 1949 in der DDR von der ostdeutschen Justiz durchgefuhrten Strafverfahren wegen nationalsozialistischer Totungsverbrechen. In ca. 14 Banden werden 927 Verfahren, u.a. zu den Verbrechen in Oradour oder zum Aufstand im Warschauer Ghetto, dokumentiert. Die Reihe erganzt die Edition Justiz und NS-Verbrechen, behandelt aber auch Totungsverbrechen aus der Anfangsphase des NS-Regimes 1933/34. Zudem werden Entscheidungen aus den sog. Rehabilitierungsverfahren seit 1991 berucksichtigt.
