Starting from these traditional questions about the nature, source, and value of knowledge, as well as its possibility and limits, the author investigates the most important positions in current epistemology. She then defends her own approach which meets the requirements of epistemology and philosophy of language with regard to a philosophically satisfying conception of knowledge.
