The electrolysis experiments were carried out for 40 hours and the products were analysed by gas chromatography and ionic chromatography. Pyridine-functionalized and Rhenium bipyridine-functionalized Polythiophenes can be used as heterogeneous catalysts for CO₂-reduction.
