I just want to say thank you. And that I know you. Even though I may not have met you, I probably know who you are, what your character is like, and what you're about. If you're an entrepreneur, you're like me. It's something that is in you, a part of your soul. Some people can learn what is necessary to do it, but a LOT of it is inborn as part of us, I believe. It can't be taught or learned. The unlimited persistence, the eternal optimism, the incredible stubbornness, it's all there.
But, sometimes, there's also the mental anguish. Entrepreneurs pay a price. I know you struggle. I know you don't sleep. I know you don't like routine. I know you're fiercely independent which sometimes isolates you. I know you have a million ideas running through your head all the time. Many of those things are exhausting to us, but we wouldn't have it any other way, would we?
I want to tell you that you're special. You are what made this country so great. Sadly, we are now in the minority it seems. And worse, it's getting harder to take the risks necessary to bring our ideas and vision to fruition. But, it can be done. You are incredibly tough. I know you don't seek stability or security because you know they don't really exist anyway. But, you're a hero for doing so. Literally a hero I believe it will be us that continues to strengthen our economy and make it great again and keep it there. Not some special government program or a new President. It's you. You are on the front lines, in the field, actually making things happen when others are afraid to or too lazy to.
I want you to know that I feel the same way you do. I'm here to support you. I want you to know that I have a massive amount of respect for you, your efforts to date, and anything you attempt in the future if you're an entrepreneur. Make no mistake about it, you're part of a special club. I'm honored to be a part of that with you. Don't ever give up, don't get complacent, and continue to put your best efforts forward. You may not get all the recognition you deserve (I'm doing my best to offer you a little of it here), but that's not really why we do what we do anyway, is it?
