The subtitle, The Devolution of a Poet, is derived from the compilation style presented in this book. It has been Willie's style to have a strict linear flow in his presentations. However, Willie has chosen to pull from poetry spanning the years from 1999 - 2009. In so doing he has inserted pieces from his younger self throughout this volume so as not to tie any one secition to a particular age or thought pattern. The volume allows the writer to see the growth in the artist, the man, the dreamer.
