Das Dom Museum Wien am Stephansplatz prasentiert sich architektonisch und konzeptionell neu ausgerichtet im Spannungsfeld von Kunst, Kirche und Gesellschaft. In diesem Fuhrer werden formal aussergewohnliche, inhaltlich vielfaltige, mitunter auch ratselhafte Kunstobjekte aus den unterschiedlichen Epochen lebendig, etwa das erste Portrat des Abendlandes in Dreiviertelansicht Rudolf des Stifters oder die Avantgarde-Klassiker der Sammlung Otto Mauer.

Herbals (derived from the Latin liber herbalis 'book of herbs') are collections of plant descriptions covering the plants' medicinal, culinary, aromatic, magical, or other properties. Like other early manuscripts, herbals were often 'published' through repeated copying by hand.
