This is a compilation of articles on protozoological biochemistry which reviews the subject area and offers information on current research. Included in the topics covered are energy metabolism of anaerobic parasitic protists, proteinases of African tryphanosomes, purine metabolism in parasitic protozoa and its relationship to chemotherapy, and nucleoside transport in malaria. New therapies, antiprotozoal drugs and new targets for these drugs are considered.
