This is an integrative review with the guiding research question: "What are the main problems in the context of arboviruses and what alternative do essential oils represent?".The bibliographic search was conducted from January to March 2021, through an electronic search in the following databases: Google Scholar, Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO) and Virtual Health Library (BVS). The publications were analyzed and interpreted and at the end of the analysis and description of the studies, the discussion of the results found and the synthesis of the knowledge generated through this...

The study aimed to evaluate the chemical profile and larvicidal activity of essential oil (EO) and oil-in-water (O/W) nanoemulsions of Eucalyptus globulus leaves. Labil and Ocimum africanum lol. Significant total phenolic content was found to be correlated with effective antioxidant activity. The essential oils did not show high toxicity in toxicity tests. The larvicidal action of E. globulus and O. africanum EO was observed where LC 50 of 26.58 mg L -1 and LC 50 of 35.89 mg L -1 , respectively, and their nanoemulsions with LC 50 of 12.01 mg L -1 and 14.75 mg L -1 were found . Through the...
