The study aimed to evaluate the chemical profile and larvicidal activity of essential oil (EO) and oil-in-water (O/W) nanoemulsions of Eucalyptus globulus leaves. Labil and Ocimum africanum lol. Significant total phenolic content was found to be correlated with effective antioxidant activity. The essential oils did not show high toxicity in toxicity tests. The larvicidal action of E. globulus and O. africanum EO was observed where LC 50 of 26.58 mg L -1 and LC 50 of 35.89 mg L -1 , respectively, and their nanoemulsions with LC 50 of 12.01 mg L -1 and 14.75 mg L -1 were found . Through the results obtained, it was proved the larvicidal and improved action of the nanoemulsions in the tests performed. Finally, this study highlights the effective larvicidal activity against Aedes aegypti larvae, and its application in areas of control of arbovirus vectors is encouraged.
