This publication aims to explain the historical process of transformation of the institutional regulatory framework for the care of children and adolescents in Brazil, with an emphasis on the context of serious human rights violations that permeate the current system of accountability for adolescents involved in criminal offenses, pointing to the introduction of restorative practices and procedures in the field of juvenile justice.

La présente publication a pour objectif d'expliquer le processus historique de transformation du dispositif normatif institutionnel de prise en charge des enfants et des adolescents au Brésil, en mettant l'accent sur le contexte de graves violations des droits humains qui caractérise le système actuel de responsabilité des adolescents impliqués dans des infractions, et en proposant l'introduction de pratiques et de procédures réparatrices dans le domaine de la justice pour mineurs.

Die vorliegende Veröffentlichung hat zum Ziel, den historischen Wandel des institutionellen Regelwerks für die Betreuung von Kindern und Jugendlichen in Brasilien aufzuzeigen, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf den Kontext schwerwiegender Menschenrechtsverletzungen liegt, die das derzeitige System der Verantwortlichkeit von Jugendlichen, die Straftaten begangen haben, durchziehen, und auf die Einführung restaurativer Praktiken und Verfahren im Bereich der Jugendgerichtsbarkeit hinweist.
