This book is based on a non-experimental study with a simple cross-sectional correlational research design. The census population is 28 students who were selected through non-probabilistic convenience sampling. The inclusion criteria for the sample were two: regular attendance to classes and being enrolled in the educational institution in 2015.

The present publication corresponds to the teaching experience and the importance of generating knowledge with new computer tools such as maple 17; the research is validated in a quasi-experimental design with a positive comparative towards the application of the software; although Maple 17 is a very useful software in mathematics considered as a super calculator, the application in didactic subjects is even more enriching.

This book presents an analysis of the critical points in coffee production in the northern zone of Peru, on which technological innovation opportunities for its competitiveness are proposed. The proposed research is based on a non-experimental qualitative study in coffee organizations in the provinces of Jaén and San Ignacio, Cajamarca region, Peru, whose research subjects were farmers, technicians and managers of the organizations, as well as experts in the coffee sector. The most salient critical points are the control of foliar diseases (rust) and coffee drying.
