Some of you may be curious about the story; it was a contest in the tradition of Earnest Hemingway. He wrote the first six-word story; some say it was seven, but who knows for sure. It went, "For sale: baby shoes, never used," if I'm not mistaken. My mother's story is somewhat less maudlin; "Alas, her teeth remained in Spain."
