Cody Jenkins continues his law enforcement career as he takes a job with the FBI, at the request of Director Hoover. He moves to Washington and, along with Milt Waltham, works directly under Hoover. The two become embroiled in an espionage case, a kidnapping, and even discover a spy for the Soviet Union within the FBI ranks.
