This title focuses on the reaction of the Eurasia authoritarian regimes to the colour revolutions in the region and shows how autocratic rulers studied various democracy promotion techniques to combat regime change in their state.

Between 2000 and 2005, colour revolutions swept away authoritarian and semi-authoritarian regimes in Serbia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine.
