In this book, provisions of the Rotterdam Rules and Chinese Maritime Code are analyzed and compared, and the possible impact on CMC if China accede to the Rotterdam Rules is disccussed.The conclusion is that CMC can be modernized, clarified, and harmonized if the provisions of the Rotterdam Rules are incorporated into CMC.
