Phytochemicals from different plants can be used as antioxidants, antibiotics, immunomodulating agents, anti-inflammatory agents, anti-tumor agents, etc. Because of the presence of these phytochemicals, the plant parts are being used in traditional medicine. In this article, the chemical constituents present in the different parts of the plants that are easily available in Bangladesh and their pharmacological activities such as antiviral and immunomodulatory activity and how these plants work against viral infection are discussed.
