The present study reveals that cent per cent of schools in Darjeeling District viewed that most of the children leave school due to stagnation, financial problems, lack of consciousness of parents, parent illiteracy, poverty and accessibility and distance of the school if the school is located very far even the parents and children shows reluctance to enrollment.
