This book attempts to analyze the social learning behaviors of children with autism as a function of the amount of attention provided by an educator in an institutional setting. The method used is borrowed from strict ethological methods, i.e. direct observation. It is completed by a study of the medical files of the autistic children and a semi-directive interview with the parents and the educators which allowed us to collect additional information.
