The efficiency of improving the seismic resistance of masonry buildings by means of materials and bands are done in this work. A series of experimental tests are conducted on mechanized bricks units in laboratory to check the properties of bricks and bricks units. After all the tests it is found that, the compressive strength of mechanised brick prism is increased by 47.80% over the manual clay bricks.
