This study examines the level of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) among adolescents in Vadodara City and explores its relationship with gender. It focuses on key SEL competencies such as self-awareness, emotional regulation, social skills, and responsible decision-making. By comparing boys and girls, the study identifies gender-based differences in emotional and social development influenced by socialization and cultural expectations. The findings offer insights for designing gender-sensitive SEL programmes to support adolescents' well-being and holistic development.
