The chain type product estimators of population mean along with its variance and estimated variance in the context of two stage sampling design involving two auxiliary variables are useful in situations where negative correlation exists between the study and the auxiliary variable. Chaining of estimators is required in order to use the acquired information on various auxiliary variables and double-sampling design is found to be suitable for gathering information.
