A new species of Streptomycetes isolated from the rhizosphere soil of medicinal plants in Kolli hills of Tamil Nadu,India. The newly isolated strain Streptomyces designated as SCBT, is capable of inhibiting the growth of a wide range of Gram negative bacteria.
