From the Hills of Home is a collection of stories written in the 1960's and 1970's about living in a remote section of Western North Carolina during the 1900's. These simple little stories were woven from a heart of love about the WNC mountains and the people who live and have lived within the realm of their shelter. Primarily they were written from childhood memories. Some information was gathered from the few remaining "ole timers."
