The usage of chemically synthetic fertilizers is not only deteriorating natural resources but is also expensive, thus it is necessary to supplement these with good-quality organic compost that can recycle natural resources, is eco-friendly, and is cost-effective.The current study put some effort into improving the process of composting by adding sawdust as an additive, which is quite effective in reducing the duration of the procedure of composting. The comparison of different types of compost produced based on the sources gives some idea of how to select the organic waste for good-quality compost.
