Accountability for student achievement is at an all time high. Educators, parents, and our communities need strategies to close the achievement gap. We must reach the students that seem to be unreachable and engage them in learning that will prepare them for the challenges of college and career. In this book I have examined a previous shift in math and have identified strategies that will allow educators to increase math achievement for all students during the current shift to Common Core State Standards.
