The dropping of Buffalo and Goat collected from GOGDARA, Swat district and chemically treated. The samples were characterized by BET surface area, FTIR, Scanning electron micrograph (SEM), Energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) analysis. Adsorption of aliphatic organic acid on each sample was studied by kinetics and batch adsorption techniques at different adsorption temperatures. The residual concentration of the acid was determined by using titration technique. The removal of acid from wastewater was studied with respect to concentrations, equilibration time and batch studies. Adsorption kinetics was analyzed by using intraparticle diffusion, Elovich and Bangham models. Thermodynamic parameters like E#, H# and S# were calculated from the adsorption kinetics data. The data shows that the adsorption is a spontaneous and endothermic process. The negative value of entropy shows that the acid molecules take an oriented position on the sample surface. The data shows that animal dropping can be used as a good biosorbent.
