In other words, it can be said that this type of study reveals the status of institutions compared to other organizations. Therefore, through a webometrics study of the Indian universities and their libraries, the author is going to rank them. Webometrics study shows the web performance of educational institutions or organizations. If the web performance of the educational organizations is below the expected norm in line with their academic excellence, then the organizations' authorities may review their web development policy by adding substantially to the size and quality of their scholarly publications.
