The seed can be processed and supplemented with enzyme and incorporate into the broiler feed to replace soybean meal, the broiler that fed on the diet performed excellently due to improvement on the performance and carcass characteristics as well as blood indices. Consumers who eat from products of broiler birds that fed on this diet will not have health challenges because of low/absent of fat and cholesterol in the products. Using processed African yam bean seed meal supplemented with enzyme in broiler feeding is better and safe live than fish meal that pose health challenges to the human beings.
