This paper aims to discuss the benefits of adding ground tyre rubber to petroleum asphalt cement, introducing sustainability concepts into the current panorama through the results obtained in laboratory analysis, proving that the reuse and introduction of ground (or shredded) rubber from waste tyres (BMP) in the production of modified asphalt improves the quality of asphalt mixtures.

In diesem Beitrag werden die Vorteile der Zugabe von gemahlenem Reifengummi zu Erdöl-Asphaltzement erörtert. Dabei werden Nachhaltigkeitskonzepte in das aktuelle Panorama eingeführt, und zwar anhand der Ergebnisse von Laboranalysen, die zeigen, dass die Wiederverwendung und Zugabe von gemahlenem (oder geschreddertem) Gummi aus Altreifen (BMP) bei der Herstellung von modifiziertem Asphalt die Qualität von Asphaltmischungen verbessert.
