This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 4th International Symposium on Languages, Applications and Technologies, SLATE 2015, held in Madrid, Spain, in June 2015.

The 17 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 57 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections on human-human languages; human-computer languages; computer-computer languages.

Although there have been many other important contributions to the field of child and adolescent analysis, the major differences in theory and approach still bear the hallmarks of three of the most significant figures in the field: Anna Freud, Melanie Klein and Donald Winnicott.
