Trevor Madison, owner of Helsedge Films, has been brutally murdered at his remote hillside retreat under mysterious circumstances. The logical person to discreetly investigate his death is LAPD homicide detective Ross Carothers, recently put on disability due to injuries from a helicopter crash.
