Ecology is a study of organisms at their home. There are large areas of neglect in the study of herons and consequently gaps in the data needed for the development of appropriate conservation strategies in the study area. Notwithstanding the gaps in our knowledge we know enough about ecology of heron species like population and habitat for the fulfillment of the above, this work is selected. We used many references to make this book effective which are given in the last chapter This book included 10 chapters out of 10 chapter no. 1 to 5 written by Dr. Chirag A. Acharya and rest 05 (Chapter No. 6 to 10) written by Dr. Raxit P. Joshi.
