A concordance of the two text witnesses to the Old Syriac Gospel of the Distinct Evangelists (Evangelion da-Mepharreshe), namely Codex Curetonianus and Codex Sinaiticus. The text basis for this concordance is that found in George Anton Kiraz, Comparative Edition of the Syriac Gospels (Gorgias Press, 2nd ed., 2004) with a number of judicious emendations.

This key-word-in-context concordance will facilitate the study of the very early Syriac text called The Book of the Laws of the Countries, a dialogue on free will versus fate between the Edessean philosopher Bardaisan and his interlocutor Awida.

Ancient language study is becoming an increasingly sophisticated and complex discipline, as scholars not only consider methods being used by specialists of other languages, but also absorb developments in other disciplines to facilitate their own research investigations.
