The Happy Go Lucky Storybook is a fictional novel for children ages 8 to 12 years old. It is appropriate for grades 3 to 5, with a Lexile score of 850L. Although he faces reality in a realistic way, ten-year- old Billy Thompson is more than a little unhappy when his father cannot give him a Maltese puppy because they live in an apartment.
