Don't Mind Being Black, American Poetry Book gives you a peek into a community that is oftentimes misunderstood, overgeneralized, and easily dismissed. The collection of poetry in this body of work offers a glimpse of the day in the life of sculptor, painter, and poet Jake Webster, and poet, performer, writer, and publisher Zorina Frey. This is a compilation of primarily free verse poetry and short stories.
