Ellery's story was inspired by a real bear that visited the author's home on the farm where she serves as a fourth generation steward in Dedham, Maine. This anthology was compiled by a small group of creative people, gently guided by Scott Fuller, who gathered during the summer of 2016 in Dedham, Maine on Peaked Mountain Farm and Native Pollinator Sanctuary. They explored how the principles of composition influenced their writing and its relationship to inspiration gained from nature.
