An der Bibliothek der Universitat fur angewandte Kunst Wien wird seit 1994 eine Sammlung von Kunstler_innenbuchern aufgebaut. Diese Studiensammlung ist als stilistisch vielfaltige und vor allem benutzbare Kollektion von Vorbildern angelegt und umfasst ca. 5000 Werke.

Sammlungskriterium ist die realisierte Absicht eines Kunstlers, einer Kunstlerin, das Buch als kunstlerisches Medium einzusetzen.
