Book represents a concise presentation of dynamics of particles and bodies and has an intention to explain phenomena due to motion in the most simple and comprehensible manner. Mathematics is reduced to a rational gauge not to ballast the text. Book contains: dynamics of a particle and system of particles and rigid body dynamics. Starting with Newton's laws, free and constraint motion, relative motion, motion in the field of central force are considered. As a special problem, dynamics of mass variable system is read. In rigid body motion: translation, rotation around a fixed axle and fixed point, in-plane motion, and free motion of the body are presented. Results obtained applying the classical laws of dynamics are proved by using principles of analytic mechanics. Book contains a concise description of the variational principle and its application for solving problems of interest in optimal control, heat and mass transfer, etc. In the book a special attention is directed toward impact theory. Book is assigned for advanced students in engineering, engineers, but also physicists and scientiststs who want to have some practical knowledge in solving problems in dynamics.
