A novel series of thiazolidinones were synthesized and characterized using different spectral analytical techniques. The derivatives synthesized were tested for their antibacterial activity against a broad spectrum of bacterial strains. Compound 5d was found to exhibit much better antibacterial property among the different derivatvies synthesized.
