The Aging Experience is the phase of our life that tends to get the least attention, in terms of planning and forethought. We research and plan where we will go to college, where we will live, our career opportunities, our retirement. Even our estates are planned, through wills, trusts and advance health care directives. What we do not usually plan very well -- or even understand fully -- is the aging experience we will encounter.

There are many topics of importance in the aging experience, whether the experience is your own (yet) or that of a loved one. Some are very serious and some are amusing. Some are cause for tantrums of varying degrees. In this volume we want to share some of those topics and tantrums with folks we hope will find them useful, or at least thought provoking.
