Artists have increasingly played a central role in the restructuring of cities, in the wake of de-industrialization, deregulation and privatization. This volume assesses the role of the -urban practitioner- as an emerging transdisciplinary figure.

Barbara Holub was a visiting artist in 2015/16 at the Social Design Studio.
