Biomedical sensors have always been an area of prime interest in biomedical instrumentation. The gradual innovation and enrichment in contactless bio-sensing techniques, methods, materials, devices, and systems are exponentially increasing for the last three decades. This work aims to review major contributions in contactless bio-sensors and systems developed from 1900 to 2020.
