In this book, we report a successful synthesis of well vertically aligned Eu doped ZnO nanorods prepared by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) without any catalyst. The effect of different PLD growth parameters in forming the nanorods and structure has been studied. Laser energy and frequency have an effect on the size and the height of the nanorods; the oxygen pressure changed the density of the nanorods.
