After the passing of her mother Sara and her friend McGregor go to a family cabin in the woods. While on a hike Sara witnesses a murder. She has difficulty getting anyone to believe her, including the local authorities. During the investigation Sara begins to wonder who she can trust and the lives of all involved are put in danger when they search for the body by the lake.
