The objective of this book is to present a low cost, efficient semi-analytical scheme to solve the static, plane problems of elasticity in stresses for homogeneous, isotropic media occupying a long cylinder with simply connected normal cross-section and subjected to mixed boundary conditions on the lateral surface.
