Our work covers the technical and quality aspects of a spinning mills product; that is a final wound package. We studied various yarn faults that are to be cleared at the stage of package formation and the package abnormalities encountered during and after the winding process. The causes of these faults are examined and their remedies are discussed in order to get a better quality wound package.
