In the present study biosorption method was used which was quite effective and economical. For this purpose corn cob powder (Zea maize) waste of very popular food crop in Asia was used as biosorbent. The efficiency of Corn Cob for the remediation of Chromium (VI) was studied by varying parameters: pH, temperature, contact time, biosorbent concentration with specified ranges mentioned on experimental work design.
