Nathan Martinez is a subsistence hunter and experimental archaeologist. A direct descendant of Juan Jose Balli, brother of the more well known Padre Nicolas Balli, Nathan's interest in wilderness living was sparked at an early age by relatives' stories of using wild edible plants, hunting, and cooking meat in barbacoa pits.
