This is Greg Thompson's first novel. He was born in Kent, England, in 1945, in the last months of the Second World War. Most of his working career was spent carrying out operational and management research for the police service. He was fortunate to work with several of the country's most innovative senior officers at the forefront of policing advances in the last years of the twentieth century.
